
We regard payment of deposit as agreement and acceptance of these terms and conditions.
BOOKINGS:
Booking requests can be made through F I Tours. Bookings are subject to availability of flights, accommodation and transfers at the time of the booking request. All verbal quotes are subject to change until final confirmation of the booking request is made in writing.
DEPOSITS AND BALANCE OF PAYMENTS:
A non refundable deposit of $250 per person or 10% is required within 7 days of confirmation of booking , whichever is the greater. Some resorts require additional deposits and these will be advised at time of confirmation. Balance of payment is due 60 days prior to departure or earlier as advised by your consultant. If no payment or any notification has been received after 7 days, it will be automatically assumed that the booking is to be cancelled. If the booking is made 50 days or less prior to departure, full payment is required immediately.
CANCELLATIONS AND AMENDMENTS:
Should you or any member of your travelling party be forced to cancel, you must notify us in writing. Cancellations more than 60 days prior to departure will incur a fee of $250.00 per passenger. For cancellations less than 50 days prior to departure, then a minimum cancellation fee of $250 per passenger and up to 100% of the land content will apply. This cancellation will be in addition to any cancellation fee charged by the airline/s or any other carrier.. Amendments to confirmed itineraries shall incur a fee of $25 per amendment.
INSURANCE:
We strongly recommend that you take out a comprehensive travel insurance policy which will, under certain circumstances and subject to policy conditions, cover such things as cancellation fees, baggage, personal liability and accident and medical cover. It is strongly suggested that insurance be paid with deposit.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS:
All travellers should be aware of any health or visa requirements for the countries that they are travelling to. It is the responsibility of all members of the travelling party to obtain a valid passport and any necessary visas and vaccination document for your holiday. F I Tours will not be responsible for any loss or expense due to failure of its clients to obtain any necessary travel documents.
BAGGAGE:
There is a 20 Kilogram (44lb) free baggage allowance for economy class air travel. Sometimes airlines may allow a small amount over the limit, but this is not guaranteed. Internal flights have a limit of 15kg Payment of any excess baggage charges is the passenger's sole responsibility.
AMENDMENTS TO PRICES AND ITINERARY:
F I Tours reserves the right to adjust the price of a tour package right up to the date of departure, even though full payment may have been made. This would only be done due to factors which were outside our control and include such things as airfare increases (up to the maximum charged by the airline), increases due to currency fluctuations, hotel price increases or any other increase in services that are part of the tour price. We also reserve the right to amend the itinerary where considered necessary due to any changes that are beyond our control. We will not itemise package prices as the total price includes all tour components, research, planning and co-ordination.
All quoted prices include a discount for payment by cheque or direct deposit, Payments by Credit Card incur a charge of 1.9%
RESPONSIBILITY:
We will always try to do our best to make sure that all your travel arrangements are satisfactory and we do accept liability for, but only to the extent of, any loss or damage sustained by you as a result of our negligence or that of an employee. F I Tours does not accept liability for acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of all those providing services in relation to the tour where there is a contract between them and yourselves over which F I Tours has no direct control, F I Tours does not accept liability damages, injury, delay, loss, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly by events beyond its control, such as, but not limited to, war, fire, flood, acts of God, or acts of Government. It is the responsibility of the passenger to ensure that he/she is in possession of the proper travel documents and that they are in compliance with the current government and transportation companies regulations. No refunds can be made in respect of accommodation and meals not utilised and under no circumstances can refunds be made for tours and sightseeing excursions not undertaken.
LAW OF CONTRACT:
Any contracts and any legal action arising are governed in all respects by the law of the State of New South Wales .
AIR TRAVEL:
Any Airline who endorse advertising or promotional material associated with F I Tours do not by virtue of the said material, represent themselves as either contracting with any person booking a holiday from F I Tours or as having any other legal relationship with such a purchase. No airline will incur any responsibility or liability to any person booking except for that liability that may be incurred as the carrier.
