While we are talking Luxury Vomo Island Resort has announced the appointment of their new Executive Chef. Shane Avant brings an extensive list of accolades with him to his new position. He has prepared culinary delights for the likes of Prince Andrew, Tom Cruise, Sam Neil and Ewan McGregor and won several prestigious awards. He has worked at many Peppers Resorts and was recently Chef de Cuisine at the 4 star Wilderness Lodge in Lake Moeraki . He is indeed a very distinguished young chef.
Vomo has more exciting things coming up on the foody front – senior management at Vomo Island Resort tell us that they are very close to finalizing a project that will bring renowned chef Neil Perry to the island for a series of foody events.
