The Papageno Eco Resort is a place of stunning pristine natural beauty located along a beautiful, untouched sandy beach at the edge of a tropical forest. Located on the island of Kadavu, Papageno is aprox 30 minutes by plane from Nadi International Airport.

Diving - Kadavu's dive sites and coral reefs have received international recognition for overall diving excellence. Popular dive spots support a richly varied and colourful labyrinth of exotic sea life to explore. Hard and soft corals, lush sea fan lined caves and pinnacles make a dramatic home to some of the reefs' many fish - Clownfish, Angelfish, Lion Fish and Blue Ribbon Eels.

Snorkelling, Swimming, Kayaking - the outer coral reef ensures the ocean waters right offshore Papageno are calm and perfect for snorkelling and kayaking. Step from your Bure and immerse yourself in the tropical blue of the ocean, or explore it in a kayak.

Other activities include a fascinating visit to a nearby Fijian village, or a walk through our very own botanical gardens. Bird watching and wildlife viewing offers naturalists (or would be naturalists) the chance to see the wonders of native flowering plants, colourful birdlife, waterfalls, rock pools and spectacular views. In particular the Papageno waterfall is a must see. After a 45 minute hike you will be in awe of the spectacular views of the Fijian Islands to the North West of Kadavu. Once at the waterfall you will know you have found a truly magical place as you bathe in the warm water.

Bures: With just 5 beach bures this eco style resort has been meticulously and artfully constructed near the water's edge. Each bure is oceanfront and offers fabulous ocean views. The bures blend island charm and modern comfort and are decorated with authentic pacific artworks. All bures offer an array of amenities with full and queen sized beds, ceiling fans and large private balconies.
