Toberua Island Resort Fiji

Toberua where small is beautiful - situated offshore a short distance from Nausori Airport a quick 30 minute flights from Nadi. Toberua is privately owned and at only 4 acres in size limited to just 15 bures all with direct oceanfronts. Whilst this is a Family paradise with calm waters and sandy beaches, at most times of the year it is perfect for couples.

Accommodation: Toberua's bures offer spacious living area and king beds with divans for children (if required), large outdoor shower area with beach access and covered verandah onto the beach.

Activities: Toberua is famous for their "occasional" golf course appearing only at low tide. Rule are fluid depending on the players and the "holes" are approximately 6' or 2 metres wide. Most watersports are available including scuba diving, deep sea fishing and excursions to neighbouring islands and the big island Mangrove Forests. Visits to a local village and viewing of island pottery making.

Weddings: As more people are looking to get away from traditional weddings that included family and friends, we find more requests for weddings to be held at Toberua.

Toberua offers an ideal location for a wedding. Privacy - no more than 30 guests. You can book the island. The setting - on the beach, by the pool, among the gardens or our special wedding bure.

As a starting point for making plans, a Toberua includes: Marriage Licence, Minister or Registrar, flowers (which include a bouquet for the bride and any of the attendants, flowers for the hair, salusalu for the bridge and groom and floral arrangements to decorate the chosen venue) and a traditional wedding cake.

We also offer complimentary champagne after the ceremony to toast the couple, savouries for the guests and a tree planting ceremony. This will also include the Toberua staff choir who sing three hymns, and accompany and attend to the bridge and groom as needed.

Photography of the complete ceremony and its following activities can be arranged too - you will take the film with you. Video can also be arranged with cost on application.

The day will conclude with a specially prepared champagne wedding dinner for two.
