The creation of Vatulele was born from long experience of the highest needs and expectations of world class travellers and the unique blend of a superb island, location, accommodation and extraordinarily friendliness of the Fijian People.

Accommodation: A Total of 18 beach front villas. All are identical except for two PREMIUM villas - "THE POINT" and VALE VIQI (pronounced 'varlay vingi - meaning pink house). All standard deluxe villas have easy access to the beach with 12 doors opening onto expansive terraces. A separate living area separated by 3 steps from the bedroom, featuring a king bed and dressing area behind. A separate (large) shower and bathroom area is off the bedroom. These villas are around 50 metres apart, set in natural jungle and are very large and very private. THE POINT is set in a prominent location at one end of the beach, and is arguably the best resort villa in the South Pacific. It's commonly booked by high profile guests wanting a total escape and privacy. It enjoys commanding views over the ocean, has two pools, air conditioning and it's own staff of four. 'Vale Viqi' is described as a Grand Honeymoon bure and is much more private than any other accommodation. It features very expansive living spaces including a huge bathroom. Like THE POINT it has its own staff, pool and air conditioning. Both premium villas are typically heavily booked up to 12 months ahead so early booking is suggested if you are locked into specific dates, and want to enjoy the luxury of one of them.

Weddings / Honeymoons:

All guests in the resort are invited to attend the wedding ceremony. Resort philosophy is that no guest should see two weddings. This limits the number of weddings held to around 3 per month, so forward booking is essential. This rule also keeps the ceremony special. When weighing the cost of a Vatulele wedding against what is available in other resorts consideration should be be given to this 'exclusivity' - you are not part of a production line. The ceremony and celebration is spectacular with the event running from sunset to around 10pm..
